The Client
Chef Bryan-David Scott is a celebrity chef and luxury coffee specialist based in Sonoma, California.
He is a family man, touring celebrity chef, luxury coffee specialist, coach, and avid supporter of our military.
Though luxury coffees are graded between 95-100 points, he offers exclusively 100 point coffees. “I want to be the best in the world. There is no point in offering less than a 100 point Coffee.” explains the chef.
This is why he has consistently been named luxury coffee roaster of the year. He is the only person in the world to win this title more then once.
He has had the honor of serving as a Celebrity Chef Ambassador for iconic brands such as KitchenAid, Lodge Cast Iron, Wholesome Sweet, Microplane, Chef Works, TazaRay, and de Buyer.
The Problem
Bryan David Scott had suffered from 5 years of unprofessional brand management. Although his quality work and word of mouth was keeping him successful, he was not even close to tapping into his potential.
Before coming to Fifth Bull, Chef Bryan-David Scott had no PR, no Events, and no Brand Direction.

The Package:
Personal branding
Why Personal Branding?
In the Personal Branding package, Fifth Bull Clarifies what your brand stands for through a careful framework of messages and appearances through collaborating with the proper campaigns; specifically shot to appeal to your target audiences. We develop a key message that clarifies and articulates your brand’s direction and mission to your followers. We work with you to identify the needs and desires of your unique audiences, including the development of psycho-graphic profiles and personas. Then, we craft the personalized message or bring you onto the proper campaign that precisely fits your brands needs. These messages can be organized into an overall guideline itinerary or summarized in an easy-to-digest point by point message.
This is exactly what Chef Bryan-David Scott needed for his brand. We at Fifth Bull saw what needed to be done, and over-delivered while doing it.
What We Did (In Short)
One week of New York branding
A series of intimate six person events throughout New York
A brand new website made. Find it here
6 event locations across the US for 2018
Objectives
The main objective of this project was to introduce Bryan David Scott to the East Coast. Fifth Bull Agency wanted to focus on the educational value and delivery of the chefs talents. To introduce potential customers to 100 point coffee and its quality. It was important to the chef not be tied to large crowded events but intimate and personal ones.
Challenges
Lining up guests that could afford the $315 plating
Finding venues that could cater to Chef Bryan’s specific needs
Certain ingredients were hard to obtain on a short notice
The extensive fees associated with booking the venues

The Results

Overall, it was significantly easier getting the events set up, and created to start selling clients individually with the chef on site. It also opened up a whole new avenue of sponsorship opportunities, resulting in increased sales and more sold out time slots and future events.
The Fifth Bull Agency team really appreciated how much easier it was to use a marketing, production team, rather than developing everything in house and keeping track of an shoot sheet and will now definitely be sticking with multiple outsourced vendors.
The pop-up events were so successful that the tour is being repeated for 2018 but the chef will expand to visit 5 locations.
“Fifth Bull has been able to do more for me within a 2 month time span than the past 5 years of built teams”
Key Takeaways for Brand Managers & Event Planners
Don’t Forget the Follow Up
Following up with attendees afterward is extremely important, particularly on events such as this focused on intimate settings engaging with your clients work directly. Fifth Bull Agency uses brand agents to help keep attendees in the loop, not just for future events but for well-being and training purposes.
Choose a Team with the Right Level of Support
Having local support available to help you set up and manage an event is vital, particularly when using a new client. It is also wise and peace of mind to know that anyone completing the production and marketing process has their own team available to guide them through the process if they need it.
Think About Cash flow
Check the payout schedule of your client. Some clients, pay out invoices immediately. Others will not pay out until after the event, which could cause headaches in terms of cash flow and event expenditure.
In Conclusion…
If you are running a tour with multiple event locations you need a reputable and reliable team that can save you time, streamline administration and pay out promptly. Through Fifth Bull Agency they were able to focus on the important stuff, the clients brand direction, event process, meeting coordination and the event content and messaging. As well as saving the client time it was great not having to worry about cash flow and to be reassured that an experience was created for the organizer team and their attendees.
